Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning an audacious raid on Manchester City for Sergio Aguero .
The Sunday Times, in a report by Mourinho expert Duncan Castles, claims the United boss is ready to test the resolve of the Reds' cross-town rivals after losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a knee injury.
Aguero has scored 134 league goals in 195 appearances for City since joining them in 2011, during which time he has been the club's main striker.
But the Argentine was dropped earlier this season in favour of new signing Gabriel Jesus and manager Pep Guardiola has said he is no longer the club’s No.1 striker with the Brazilian on an equal footing.
The Blues would be highly unlikely to sell to the local enemies even if Aguero wanted to leave ,though the report suggests Mourinho is considering a £55,000,000 bid for the 29 year old.
