Manchester City are out of UEFA Champions League after losing 5-1 on aggregate to Liverpool

Manchester City have crashed out of UEFA Champions League after losing 3-0 at Anfield and 2-1 at the Etihad to Liverpool. Manchester City have nosedived in April and have now lost 3 games in a row. Manchester City fans booed the team off and left early in despair. At half time at the Etihad yesterday Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola was sent to the stands for swearing at the referee for disallowing a goal for offside when the replay showed Leroy Sane was not offside. Manchester City face a tough test Away to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. Whilst rivals Manchester United take on relegation threatened West Brom at Old Trafford on Sunday West Brom must win to avoid relegation to the Championship.
